About CISV Victoria, Canada JB
Junior Branch is the fun, engaging CISV group for youth! Our Youth Leadership team (aka JB Steering Committee ) organize and run fun activities and games for youth ages 12-18, but we are inviting 11 year olds to join our meetings since COVID impacted a separate program for them (11 year old travel programs are still running).
If you walked into a Junior Branch meeting you would likely see a big group of youth, laughing, maybe standing in a circle, participating in some game, and then a transition to small groups in a quieter activity and then coming back into a big circle to debrief and share, while youth from the Steering Committee lead with questions.

Our purpose is to build peace and understanding beginning with our community and then bringing that to the global world (often with participation in one of our travel camp programs which are optional but incredibly powerful and life changing).
